ETSU football recorded its first win of the 2026 season on Saturday by defeating Tusculum 48-14 in Johnson City. The victory moves the Buccaneers to a 1-1 record following a contest that renewed a series dormant for over 75 years. ETSU produced 484 yards of total offense, led by quarterback Mason Mims who recorded 242 passing yards and three touchdowns. TJ Peyton contributed to the scoring effort with 121 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries, while Suderian Harrison added 71 receiving yards and one score.
