Eugenio Chacarra enters top 50 in world golf rankings

Eugenio Chacarra has secured a spot in the world top 50 golf rankings for the first time as of October 13, 2026. The former LIV Golf player moved up five spots to No. 50 following a T-2 finish at the Spanish Open despite competing with a broken toe. Scottie Scheffler remains in the top position, leading the rankings. Chacarra earned his ranking after departing from LIV Golf, where he signed a three-year deal following his time at Oklahoma State University. His success came after obtaining full DP World Tour status through his victory at the Hero Indian Open in 2025.
