Eugenio Suárez uses new walk-up song after becoming United States citizen

Cincinnati Reds slugger Eugenio Suárez debuted a new walk-up song, Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA," during his first plate appearance since officially becoming an American citizen. Teammates arranged the musical tribute to celebrate his successful naturalization test in Miami earlier this week. Following his return to the team, Suárez walked in his first at-bat and later scored. He subsequently hit a three-run home run in the third inning of the game against the Milwaukee Brewers at Great American Ball Park. This home run marked his 210th as a member of the Reds, moving him into a tie with Ken Griffey Jr. for the ninth-most in franchise history. Manager Terry Francona expressed support for the player's milestone accomplishment as the team prepared for the series.
