Eusebio advises Barcelona's Hamza Abdelkarim on development strategy

Hamza Abdelkarim, an 18-year-old striker, is back with Barça Atletic after a spell with Barcelona's first team. Following his absence from the squad against Real Betis, where Barcelona won 5-2, Eusebio Sacristan provided advice to the young player. Eusebio suggests that participating with the reserves is crucial for Hamza's growth, despite it potentially feeling like a setback. He emphasized the importance of gaining competitive minutes while training alongside experienced players in the first team. Hamza scored in a recent reserve match against Utebo, demonstrating his potential. The challenge for Barcelona remains balancing his exposure to first-team training with the necessity of regular game time to support his development.
