Eva Armstead sets state records in final track meet

FootballEva Armstead capped off her high school track career with a historic performance at the state meet in Gulf Shores on July 2. Armstead set a new Class 4A outdoor state record in the 400 meters with a time of 53.31 seconds, surpassing the previous record by over 2.5 seconds. She also won titles in the 200 meters and 100 meters, bringing her total to 13 state championships.
