Evan Campbell disqualified from hurdles in decathlon at Commonwealth Games

Evan Campbell, competing in the decathlon for Jersey at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, was disqualified from the 110m hurdles after clipping the first barrier and failing to clear each hurdle. Despite finishing in over 24 seconds, he received no points for the event. Campbell, who was in 10th place out of 12 after the first day, will continue to compete in the remaining four disciplines of the decathlon. This marks an important moment as Campbell is the first Jersey man to compete in a decathlon at the Commonwealth Games.
