Everest Leydecker secures U20 World Championship for Iowa women's wrestling

Everest Leydecker of Iowa women's wrestling won the U20 World Championship at 55 kilograms in Bratislava, Slovakia, on August 20. This victory marks her second U20 World title, adding to a strong performance where she outscored her opponents 30-2 throughout the tournament. Leydecker defeated Japan's Nana Kozuka in the finals after trailing 2-0 in the first period.
