Everton agree personal terms with Kenny Tete for right-back position
Summary

Everton have reached an agreement on personal terms with Fulham right-back Kenny Tete, as reported on August 29, 2026. The club is now focused on negotiating a transfer deal with Fulham, where discussions for a replacement are ongoing. Everton has struggled with right-back options, with Seamus Coleman declining and Nathan Patterson's injuries impacting their lineup. Tete, a 30-year-old Dutch defender, has Premier League experience but has experienced inconsistent performances in recent seasons. His signing may address an urgent need, although concerns about his ability to enhance team dynamics linger.
