Everton hosts Crystal Palace to kick off new EPL season

Summary

Everton begins its 125th top flight season against Crystal Palace on August 21, 2026, at Hill Dickinson Stadium. The Toffees are coming off a challenging pre-season and are looking to avoid a fifth consecutive opening day defeat. New signings, including Hayden Hackney and Christian Norgaard, aim to bolster the squad, although concerns remain about the right-back position. Crystal Palace, fresh off winning their first European trophy, face managerial changes with Oliver Glasner's departure and Pierre Sage’s arrival.
