Everton inquires about Bayer Leverkusen striker Christian Kofane

Everton has joined Arsenal and Newcastle United in expressing interest in Bayer Leverkusen striker Christian Kofane. The 20-year-old Cameroonian forward has gained attention following a successful first season in the Bundesliga, where he scored five goals and provided five assists in 29 league appearances. Kofane's market value has surged from approximately €5 million to €40 million since his move to Leverkusen, which was finalized in July 2025. Although Everton has made an inquiry, there have been no concrete negotiations at this stage. Kofane is under contract with Leverkusen until 2029, and his impressive performances also led to success with the Cameroon national team during the Africa Cup of Nations.
