Exeter Chiefs lock Andrea Zambonin is out until the end of November following shoulder surgery. The 25-year-old returned from Italy's summer games with a serious shoulder issue that required an operation. Zambonin played 27 matches for the Chiefs last season, including the Premiership final against Northampton. Alongside Zambonin, fellow lock Dafydd Jenkins also underwent surgery but may be available at the start of the new season. Exeter's pre-season games begin on September 5 against Scarlets before they kick off the league season against Gloucester on September 26.
