F1 drivers prepare for Lego car race at British GP this weekend

Formula One drivers will participate in a unique event at Silverstone before the British Grand Prix on Sunday, where they will race in mini-cars constructed from Lego bricks. Lewis Hamilton has opted out, expressing concerns for safety following competitive incidents in previous Lego events. Other drivers, including Lando Norris, are eager for the fun challenge. Each Lego car, featuring the teams' 2026 liveries, is made of over 28,000 bricks and can reach speeds of 25 kph. This follows a similar event last summer and showcases the ongoing partnership between F1 and Lego.
