FAI submits bid to host 2029 Women's Champions League final in Dublin

The Football Association of Ireland has formally submitted a bid to host the 2029 Women's Champions League final at Dublin's Aviva Stadium. This follows an expression of interest made to UEFA in October 2025 and a preliminary bid in February 2026. Supported by the Irish Government and Dublin City Council, the FAI aims to enhance Dublin's reputation for hosting major sporting events after previous finals held at the venue. The stadium, with a capacity of 51,700, is also scheduled to host seven matches during Euro 2028. UEFA will announce the selected host for both the 2028 and 2029 finals in September 2026.
