Falcons achieve historic two-game scoring feat in NFL

The Atlanta Falcons secured a dominant 45-24 victory over the New Orleans Saints on October 5. This win marked the Falcons as the only team in NFL history to record a two-game span with at least 80 points, 800 total yards, eight rushing touchdowns, one or fewer turnovers, and one or fewer sacks allowed. After starting the season with two losses, Atlanta improved to a 2-2 record, largely due to the return of quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who posted significant performances since his Week 3 comeback. Running back Bijan Robinson also excelled, contributing over 100 rushing yards for the second straight game, including a 59-yard touchdown. Atlanta will aim to continue this momentum in their upcoming matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on October 8.
