Falcons activate Jawaan Taylor, waive long snapper Florenzo

The Atlanta Falcons completed roster moves on August 10 ahead of their preseason opener. Offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor was activated from the PUP list after an earlier absence from training camp, leading to expectations he will start at right tackle this season. In other moves, long snapper Philip Florenzo was waived, and offensive tackle Jack Nelson was placed on the waived/injured list. The Falcons also signed defensive end Cameron Sample to bolster the defensive line, as they prepare to face the Denver Broncos in their first preseason game this Friday.
