Falcons add running back Trey Sermon to 90-man roster

The Atlanta Falcons signed running back Trey Sermon to their 90-man roster. Sermon was previously with the Indianapolis Colts for two seasons, where he recorded 319 rushing yards and two touchdowns over 31 games. He has also played for the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Pittsburgh Steelers, mainly contributing on special teams last season. The Falcons announced several additional roster moves, including the signing of defensive end Cameron Sample and waiving long snapper Phillip Florenzo. Atlanta is set to face the Denver Broncos in their preseason opener at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on August 11.
