Falcons and Colts hold joint practices ahead of preseason matchup

The Atlanta Falcons will conduct a pair of joint practices with the Indianapolis Colts beginning Wednesday, August 19, at 3 p.m. ET. Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski plans to utilize starters extensively in 11-on-11 drills, alongside 7-on-7 sessions for quarterback Michael Penix Jr. The second practice is set for Thursday, also at 3 p.m. ET. The squads will meet in a preseason game on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium, where either Jack Strand or Cooper Rush is expected to start for Atlanta.
