Falcons and Saints release final injury reports for Week 1 matchups

The Atlanta Falcons have ruled out four players for Sunday’s season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Quarterback Cooper Rush is set to start for Atlanta after both Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. were ruled out due to injury. Defensive lineman Za'Darius Smith remains questionable with a shoulder injury despite being a full participant in Friday's practice. In other action, the New Orleans Saints have finalized their roster status for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions. The Saints ruled out tight end Oscar Delp, running back Audric Estime, and defensive end Cam Jordan. Running back Alvin Kamara is listed as questionable and will be evaluated as a game-time decision. The Falcons travel to Pittsburgh for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff, while the Saints prepare for their road contest against the Lions.
