Falcons' Bijan Robinson named dark-horse MVP candidate for 2026 season

Bijan Robinson has been listed as a dark-horse MVP candidate by NFL.com's Dan Parr as the Atlanta Falcons enter the 2026 season. Robinson, a running back, had a standout previous season with 2,298 scrimmage yards but aims to capitalize on additional goal-line opportunities following the departure of Tyler Allgeier. The Falcons hope to revitalize their passing game under new coaching, which could enhance Robinson's chances for a significant season. Achieving historic production could place him firmly in MVP discussions, despite the award's current tendency to favor quarterbacks.
