Falcons elevate Khalil Herbert for matchup against 49ers

The Atlanta Falcons have elevated running back Khalil Herbert from the practice squad for their Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers. This move comes after the team ruled out Brian Robinson Jr., who is sidelined due to a hamstring injury. Robinson has been an effective backup this season, rushing for 211 yards and four touchdowns. The Falcons have only two active running backs on their roster, necessitating Herbert's elevation. Other players, including linebacker Divine Deablo and cornerback Billy Bowman Jr., are also ruled out for the game, while several others are listed as questionable.
