Falcons' Jalon Walker recognized as key building block for defense

Bleacher Report identified Atlanta Falcons linebacker Jalon Walker as the team's most promising building block ahead of the 2026 NFL season. Walker, who recorded 36 tackles and 5.5 sacks during his rookie year, emerged as a versatile defender under defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich. His growth is expected to be vital to the Falcons' defense, especially with fellow linebacker James Pearce Jr. facing a potential suspension to start the season. The Falcons look to build on their successful 2025 campaign, where they achieved a franchise-record 57 sacks.
