Falcons place Anterio Thompson on non-football injury list ahead of camp

Anterio Thompson, a sixth-round draft pick from Washington, has been placed on the non-football injury list by the Atlanta Falcons. The 6-foot-2, 306-pound defensive tackle has not participated in training camp activities following a lingering injury that also sidelined him during minicamp and previous organized team activities. Thompson, who played a single season with UW after transferring from Iowa and Western Michigan, is the only draft choice yet to practice with the team this offseason. His absence could impact his chances of making the final roster as the Falcons prepare their defensive line for the upcoming season.
