Falcons place Storm Norton on PUP list, trade for Wanya Morris
Summary

The Atlanta Falcons placed offensive tackle Storm Norton on the reserve/physically unable to perform list on June 11, 2026. This move follows Norton's recovery from ankle surgery that kept him off the field last season. To address their offensive line depth, the Falcons traded for Kansas City Chiefs tackle Wanya Morris, securing Morris in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round pick, along with a seventh-round pick from the Chiefs. Norton, who has appeared in 67 career games, will not contribute this season while under the PUP designation, which opens the door for Morris to vie for a roster spot. The Falcons are expected to rely on other tackles such as Jake Matthews and Jawaan Taylor after Kaleb McGary's retirement.
