Falcons prepare for preseason finale against Dolphins and roster decisions

The Atlanta Falcons are set to face the Miami Dolphins on Friday at 7 p.m. ET in their preseason finale. With a solid roster, the Falcons must finalize their 53-man lineup by Sunday, leading to crucial roster decisions at several positions. Key battles include quarterbacks Michael Penix Jr. and Tua Tagovailoa, with Jack Strand and Cooper Rush vying for a potential third spot. Also, undrafted free agent Vinny Anthony II is expected to make the roster, bolstered by his impressive return game. Atlanta has shown interest in keeping another undrafted player, defensive lineman Carlos Allen Jr., due to depth concerns. The outcome of this game will inform roster decisions as the team moves closer to the regular season.
