Falcons prepare for preseason finale against Dolphins with roster evaluation

Summary

The Atlanta Falcons are set to face the Miami Dolphins in their preseason finale on Friday night. Following the game, they must reduce their roster from 90 players to 53 by Sunday to meet NFL regulations. This matchup serves as a crucial opportunity for players on the roster bubble, such as undrafted quarterback Jack Strand and defensive tackle Carlos Allen Jr., to secure a position. Atlanta is expected to utilize most starters in preparation for the regular season, though quarterback Michael Penix Jr. will not participate. Tua Tagovailoa is slated to start against his former team.
