The Atlanta Falcons have waived defensive end Jared Ivey and released defensive end Drake Jackson. Ivey, who joined the team from the Seahawks, recorded eight tackles and a sack in his seven appearances this season. Jackson, who was signed to the active roster last month, played in two games after starting on the practice squad. The team has not filled either roster spot but may see defensive ends James Pearce and Yasir Abdullah return this week as Pearce completes his suspension and Abdullah remains on injured reserve.
