The Falcons announced the release of linebacker Troy Andersen on August 7. Andersen, a second-round pick in 2022, played every game as a rookie but suffered multiple injuries since, limiting him to just two games in 2023 and sidelining him for the entire 2025 season. Over his tenure, he recorded 135 tackles, five tackles for loss, an interception return for a touchdown, a half-sack, and a forced fumble. Atlanta has signed wide receiver Kristian Wilkerson to fill the vacated roster spot.
