Falcons release offensive lineman Layden Robinson and punter Matthew Hayball

The Atlanta Falcons released offensive lineman Layden Robinson and punter Matthew Hayball from their 90-man training camp roster on August 17, 2026. Robinson, drafted by the New England Patriots in the 2024 NFL Draft, played 13 games during his rookie season and spent time on the Las Vegas Raiders' practice squad. Hayball, who was signed as a free agent, performed in the team's preseason opener, punting four times for a total of 178 yards. The Falcons now have one open roster spot and may look to fill it shortly. They are set to face the Indianapolis Colts in their second preseason game on August 20.
