Falcons sign Devonnsha Maxwell and Keshawn Banks to roster

The Atlanta Falcons are adding defensive tackle Devonnsha Maxwell and edge rusher Keshawn Banks to their 90-man roster, as reported by NFL Network. Maxwell, a former player for the DC Defenders in the UFL, is 27 years old and has yet to appear in an NFL regular season game. Banks, 26, joins from the UFL Storm where he recorded five sacks and 11 tackles for loss. This signing may signal a looming suspension for edge rusher James Pearce, who is expected to face discipline for a personal conduct policy violation. The Falcons currently have 92 players on their roster, necessitating further adjustments before the regular season begins.
