Falcons start Tua Tagovailoa in preseason finale against Dolphins

Summary

The Atlanta Falcons will start Tua Tagovailoa as their quarterback for the preseason finale against the Miami Dolphins on Friday at Hard Rock Stadium. Head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed that Michael Penix Jr. will not participate, despite returning to 11-on-11 practice this week. Tagovailoa, previously with the Dolphins, is looking to solidify his position in the Falcons' QB competition. He is set to play first, followed by veteran Cooper Rush and rookie Jack Strand.
