Falcons' Za'Darius Smith selects No. 91 for 2026 season

The Atlanta Falcons announced that newly signed edge rusher Za'Darius Smith will wear No. 91 this season. This decision comes as Smith, a three-time Pro Bowler, returns after coming out of retirement. He will not participate in the Falcons' joint practice with the Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday. The Falcons also assigned Beaux Collins the No. 88 jersey. The team is preparing for the joint practice scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.
