Jay Campbell, the hits leader for Florida A&M University baseball, announced his entry into the NCAA Transfer Portal on May 30, just ahead of the portal opening on June 1. The Tallahassee native, who has led FAMU with 65 hits this season, was a two-time All-SWAC selection and played an integral role in the team's success over the past two years, including reaching the SWAC championship game twice. Campbell has two years of eligibility remaining and becomes the fourth player from FAMU to enter the transfer portal since the end of the season.
