FAMU faces UMKC in Showdown in St. Pete on Veterans Day

Florida A&M University men's basketball team will compete against the University of Missouri-Kansas City on November 11 as part of the second annual Showdown in St. Pete. The tournament, featuring five teams, will take place at Eckerd College's McArthur Center from November 11 to 14. FAMU is seeking to improve upon their last season's 15-16 record and build on their semifinal appearance in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Prior to the tournament, FAMU will host a “Rattler Nation Take Over” event on November 10. Early-bird tickets for the showcase are currently available.
