FAMU Sports Hall of Fame celebrates 50th induction ceremony on Friday

The Florida A&M University Sports Hall of Fame will hold its 50th induction ceremony on Sept. 18 at the Al Lawson Jr. Multipurpose Center. Seven individuals will be inducted into the Hall, including William Evers (Football) and Judith Kibii (Cross Country & Track & Field). The event begins at 7 p.m., with tickets priced at $100, nearly sold out. Pam Oliver is emceeing, and several former athletes will be in attendance. The inductees will also be recognized during the pregame of the Rattlers' football game against Tennessee State at Bragg Memorial Stadium.
