Fantasy analysts identify 2026 sleeper candidates ahead of NFL season kickoff

Summary

Pro Football Network’s Jacob Infante released a series of evaluations regarding fantasy football draft values heading into the 2026 NFL season. Tight end Juwan Johnson is highlighted as a high-value sleeper despite New Orleans adding several pass catchers to the roster. Analysts are cautious regarding Chicago running back Kyle Monangai, who remains week-to-week with a knee injury, while Seattle running back Zach Charbonnet is expected to miss games through September while on the reserve/PUP list. Philadelphia wide receiver Makai Lemon faces competition for targets as he recovers from a hamstring injury, leading some observers to favor Cleveland’s KC Concepcion for his potential target share. As teams set their initial depth charts, these player statuses impact draft strategies for leagues beginning in mid-September.
