Fantasy analysts rank top NFL quarterbacks entering the 2026 season kickoff
Summary

The 2026 NFL regular season opens this week, with fantasy football rankings reflecting early projections for top quarterbacks. Lamar Jackson leads the rankings for the Baltimore Ravens, bolstered by his current health and an improved offensive line. Justin Herbert is positioned as a primary fantasy option for the Los Angeles Chargers against the Arizona Cardinals. Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles and Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys also hold top-tier rankings, despite questions regarding new play-calling systems and defensive matchups. Josh Allen faces a more difficult outlook for the Buffalo Bills based on his historical struggles against the Houston Texans. Because no official 2026 game statistics exist yet, these rankings are based on off-season roster changes, coaching updates, and historical performance trends.
