Fantasy football managers should target five underrated running backs

Summary

As NFL training camps commence, the fantasy football season for 2026 is heating up. Yahoo Sports outlines five running backs to consider for mid- to late-round picks. Among them, Javonte Williams of the Dallas Cowboys stands out after a productive 2025 season with over 1,300 scrimmage yards and 13 touchdowns. Quinshon Judkins from the Cleveland Browns and TreVeyon Henderson of the New England Patriots also offer value, having shown potential in prior seasons. David Montgomery is set to return as a primary ball-carrier for the Houston Texans, while Jonathan Brooks from the Carolina Panthers is a risky but potentially high-reward option.
