FC Barcelona prepares for Rodri transfer with midfield exits

Summary

FC Barcelona's pursuit of Manchester City captain Rodri is prompting changes to their midfield lineup. Rodri's expected arrival, following his World Cup success with Spain, comes after initial talks with Real Madrid fell through. Barcelona's bid of €46 million was rejected, leading them to prepare an increased offer between €60-70 million. To accommodate Rodri's wage demands, the club is facilitating exits, with Ronald Araujo loaning to Liverpool and Marc Casado set to leave imminently. Tommy Marques is also likely to depart, seeking more playing time, with several clubs reportedly interested.
