FC Groningen signs Nikolas Brandis as Peersman replacement

FC Groningen has signed Nikolas Brandis, a Slovakian youth international, to replace Marvin Peersman, who transferred to Telstar. Brandis, aged 21, comes from AS Trencin's academy and has already gained senior and youth international experience. He made 22 appearances last season, contributing to Trencin's ninth-place finish. The left-back has signed a contract extending through the summer of 2030, adding depth to Groningen's squad, particularly in competition with fellow young defender Wouter Prins.
