FC Nantes prepares to part ways with Michel Der Zakarian

Summary

FC Nantes is set to dismiss head coach Michel Der Zakarian after just three competitive games this season. This decision follows Nantes’ difficult start in Ligue 2, where they currently sit at the bottom of the table with three consecutive losses. Der Zakarian's tenure lasted only 68 days, which included a 0-1 loss to Red Star, a 1-2 defeat against Laval, and a humiliating 2-5 loss to Rodez. Former Red Star head coach Grégory Poirier is expected to be named as his replacement soon, following Der Zakarian's recent criticism of the team’s performance.
