FC Utrecht signs Sem van Duijn on loan from AZ Alkmaar

FC Utrecht announced the signing of Sem van Duijn from AZ Alkmaar on loan for the 2026/2027 Eredivisie season. The 22-year-old striker will have a year to prove himself in order for Utrecht to activate a purchase option agreed with AZ. Van Duijn, who previously played for Telstar, joins under the guidance of former Telstar coach Antonio Correia. He scored five goals in 16 matches during his loan spell at Telstar last season, building on his experience after scoring 22 goals in 70 games with Quick Boys before joining AZ Alkmaar in 2024.
