Jacob Fearnley, Toby Samuel, Harry Wendelken, and Harriet Dart are one win away from the US Open main draw after successful second-round qualifying matches in New York. Fearnley secured a three-set victory over Luka Pavlovic, winning 6-4 6-7 (4-7) 6-4 and will face Jurij Rodionov next. Samuel came from behind to beat Billy Harris 4-6 6-4 6-1 and is set to meet Cristian Garin. Wendelken saved a match point in a three-hour match against Remy Bertola, winning 5-7 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 to advance to face Vilius Gaubas. Dart rallied against Kristina Penickova, winning 5-7 6-0 6-3, and may face Heather Watson or Angela Fita Boluda in the next round.
