Fenway Sports Group acquires Boston Common Golf in new women's league

Fenway Sports Group will own Boston Common Golf, the fifth team in the Women’s Team Golf League (WTGL). The new league, debuting this fall at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, will feature a match-play format with many of the top LPGA Tour players. This marks FSG's first ownership in women's professional golf, following their partnership with the LPGA initiated in 2023. WTGL currently has 14 players announced, including six ranked in the world’s top 13, with more players to be revealed before the inaugural season. FSG's involvement aims to bolster the growth and visibility of women’s team golf.
