Fermin Aldeguer will not return to racing until after the summer due to a T7 vertebra fracture sustained in a crash during MotoGP practice at Assen. The Gresini rider suffered multiple injuries from the high-speed accident but is managing pain with medical oversight. Aldeguer remains in Assen for rehabilitation as he recovers from this injury and a previous leg injury. He expects to miss at least four weeks of riding, coinciding with the summer break in the MotoGP schedule.
