Fernando Mendoza named QB2 on Raiders' first 2026 depth chart

Summary

Fernando Mendoza is positioned as the second-string quarterback on the Las Vegas Raiders' initial depth chart for the 2026 NFL season. The first overall pick of the 2026 draft trails starter Kirk Cousins, while Aidan O'Connell is listed as third and undrafted rookie Jacob Clark as fourth. The Raiders appear to have opted for a conventional approach by starting Cousins instead of creating competition for the quarterback position. Mendoza's performance will be watched closely as the season progresses.
