Ferran Torres not seeking to leave Barcelona amid PSG interest

Summary

Barcelona forward Ferran Torres has not expressed any intention to leave the club, following strong interest from PSG. After a standout performance in the World Cup final, where he scored Spain's only goal, Torres remains a key asset for Barcelona. The club plans to begin contract renewal discussions in September, as he has less than 12 months remaining on his current deal. Barcelona aims to finalize his contract extension to avoid losing him for free next summer. The team's strategy is to address contractual matters separately from the transfer window's final weeks, potentially easing financial concerns.
