Ferran Torres scores hat trick in Paris Saint-Germain Champions League debut

Ferran Torres recorded a hat trick in his Champions League debut for Paris Saint-Germain during a 6-1 victory against Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday. The forward, signed from Barcelona this summer on a five-year contract, became the first player in club history to score three goals in his opening match in the competition. Ousmane Dembélé assisted both of the forward's second-half goals and opened the scoring for Paris Saint-Germain. Torres joins Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the only players in team history to reach at least five goals within their first four appearances across all competitions. The 26-year-old previously secured the winning goal for Spain in the World Cup final against Argentina in July. Paris Saint-Germain currently holds the title as defending champions.
