Ferran Torres scores twice as PSG draws with Rennes in Ligue 1 opener

Ferran Torres scored both goals for Paris Saint-Germain in a 2-2 draw against Rennes in their Ligue 1 opener on August 23. Trailing 2-0 at halftime, PSG made a tactical change, bringing on Torres, who netted in the 71st and 82nd minutes to equalize. Rennes had taken an early lead with goals from Sebastian Szymanski and Esteban Lepaul, putting PSG in a challenging position. The match took place in Brittany due to a damaged pitch in the capital caused by heatwaves. PSG aims to defend their Ligue 1 title this season and pursue a third consecutive Champions League trophy.
