Ferris State women's volleyball earns number one national ranking

The Ferris State women’s volleyball team moved to the top spot in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division II poll released on Monday, Sept. 7. The Bulldogs hold an 8-0 record after finishing 4-0 at the Colorado Premier Challenge in Denver this past holiday weekend. The team rose four spots in the national rankings following tournament victories over Wayne State College Nebraska and Angelo State University. This appearance marks the sixth time in school history that the program has achieved a number one ranking. Ferris State received 36 of 46 possible first-place votes to secure the position. The team continues its schedule on the road against Roosevelt University in Chicago on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
