Festivities ramp up ahead of Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic

Road to the Classic and We All In are enhancing celebrations in Canton for the annual Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic. Scheduled for September 6, the game features Albany State University against Johnson C. Smith University at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. This year, the organizers, including Marcus Bentley and Ateira Ashley, aim to include youth-focused events such as a parade and festival starting August 22, with the goal of highlighting opportunities at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Community engagement is evident with local youth activities planned through the end of the month, culminating in the classic game.
